May I take artwork "on approval"? Yes, it's important to us that you see artwork in your own home or business before deciding to purchase. This service is only available when the art is picked up at our Plymouth, Minnesota location. If you're unable to get to our Studio, artwork may be purchased for viewing and returned for refund if you decide not to keep it. Please see our policies under Frequent Questions - Purchases.

Do you deliver & hang artwork? Yes, we can deliver and hang artwork we've framed as well as your other existing artwork, mirrors, etc. We also pack and ship artwork throughout the United States.

Do you have art sales? We have two art sales during the year; one in the fall and one in the spring. There may also be one or two special art events during the year at which some art may be offered at reduced prices. Can you commission an artist to create something for me? Yes, several of the artists we work with will work with you to create a personalized piece of artwork.

Can I "trade-in" my existing artwork for something new? We will certainly consider any artwork you wish to sell if you are buying artwork and framing from us. Can I sell my artwork through you "on consignment"? We do not currently have the capacity to sell your artwork through our gallery.

How can a print be an original? Some forms of printing such as etching, serigraphy and monoprinting require a lot of hand work and the final print(s) are often similar but not identical. When the artist is directly involved in the entire printing process, it is considered an "original print."

My artwork is "rippled", can you correct this? Yes, we probably can. The reason artwork on paper ripples is because the paper is affected by moisture - either humidity or the paint. In many cases we can reduce, or remove, the ripples by using an acid-free (and reversible) adhesive mounting board.

How is the price of artwork determined? The monetary value of a piece of artwork depends on several things: 1) the amount of time and materials used, 2) the quality of the finished work and 3) the demand for the artist's work.
